AA Ecom Industries ("we") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use FolksAround, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

• Account info — first name, age range, profile photo, and email or phone for sign-in.
• Interests & preferences — activities you enjoy and your preferred group size.
• Approximate location — neighborhood or city only, used to show nearby gatherings. We never share or store your precise street address.
• Usage data — pages opened, gatherings joined, basic device info and crash logs.
• Communications — messages exchanged in-app to coordinate meetups.

2. How we use information

• To operate, secure and improve FolksAround.
• To match you with nearby gatherings and members with shared interests.
• To prevent fraud, abuse and policy violations.
• To respond to your support requests.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers (hosting, analytics, customer support, fraud prevention) under contractual confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.

4. Your choices

• Edit or delete your profile at any time in the app.
• Request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing Hello@Folksaround.app.
• Turn off location permission in your iOS settings (some features will be limited).
• Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link.

5. Children

The Service is intended for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact Hello@Folksaround.app and we will delete it.

6. Data retention

We keep account data for as long as your account is active and for a limited period afterward to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

7. Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical and physical safeguards. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International users

FolksAround is operated from the United States. By using the Service from outside the US, you consent to the transfer of your information to the US.

9. Your rights (CA, EU/UK)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your data, and to object to processing or request data portability. Submit requests to Hello@Folksaround.app.

10. Changes

We will notify you of material changes in-app or by email. The "Last updated" date above will always reflect the current version.
